Prejudice is defined as a feeling, favorable or unfavorable, toward a person or thing, prior to, or not based on, actual experience.

Forming an opinion before becoming aware of the relevant facts of a case

Often refers to judgements toward people or a person because of gender social class age disability religion sexuality race/ethnicity , language or nationality.

  • Religious prejudice

Example, Sexual Orientation

Prejudice against sexual orientation whether they are gay, bixexual or lesbian

  1. Gabriella please remember to not only use your blog as a reflective ‘diary’ but to also use it as a way to build a bank of links and resources for a later date. That way you will have ready access to a whole range of resources when you have to prepare your presentation and essay. Also take time to tag each post with key words, AOKs and WOKs. This will help you to search your site to retrieve relevant resources etc
